How many frozen cubes of starter batch

I am wondering on the webpage you mention 1 to 2 cups of frozen inoculated yogurt per US cups of milk. My ice cube tray is also not standard size. My freezer is tiny. My husband bought these trays. I live alone am disabled cant drive. Live 3 miles away from a store. To top it all off my electric wheelchair died so i crawl around the house. Getting a new ice cube tray wont be possible for a week and a half. I normally make 8 cups of yogurt at a time. I go through alot to stay healthy. Oh I am also in the middle of an MS flare up. Wonderful people from my church with jobs families are making time to take me to the hospital for 5 days of IV steroids. Asking them to do more when they do so much. Especially now. I just cant do. Hope you can help. I normally use 4 tablespoons to 5 of a different brand. It is always good to try a new brand to see what works the best for each person. Thank you for your time

Hello Kathee,
1 cube per pint should be enought, 2 for any case - you don’t need a great amount, the bacteria in the cube are already a few billion and will multiplay.
Hope this helps

Thank you so much. I know each company makes their yogurt starters abit different…, also many thanks for such a swift reply. I apologize for such a lengthy beginning postsigh. Steriods make me very chatty.i think this will be the beginning of a wonderful very Happy relationship. Even tho i have been making yogurt for 5 to 7 yrs. You are the only place that really went into freezing the inoculated batch for many future uses. The time money and most important not having healthy yogurt at home. The kind i know what is in it, and my preference is Bulgarian yogurt, i may give another kind a try type/strain since you have such a wealth of information the only suprise will be how much i like it :grinning:.
Thank you again @Yogurtathome_Team
